WALKING DISTANCE:
Located right on Albufeira's main avenue, the accommodation offers quick access to the most popular areas.
A 12 to 15 minute walk to the left will take you to the vibrant Oura area, known as The Strip, full of bars and restaurants.
If you choose to walk to the right, in just 12 minutes you'll find the charming center of Albufeira's Old Town, the famous Praia dos Pescadores and Praia dos Alemães.

PARKING:
If you prefer to rent a car to freely explore the entire Algarve region, this apartment offers an extra advantage: FREE communal public parking right outside the door.

BUS:
The local bus service (Giro) has a station near the apartment, stopping every 30 minutes to take you to the old town and the beach.

Other things to bear in mind
sELF CHECK IN: from 16:00 onwards
cHECK OUT: until 11am

The building is quite quiet and no parties or noise will be tolerated after 10pm.

SEF REQUIREMENTS:
All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourist and guest information to the Foreigners and Borders Service (known as SEF).
To comply with the legal requirements, from one week before your arrival, we will send you a link with a SEF form for you to fill in and send back to us before your arrival. This is a mandatory requirement.

TOURIST TAX:
As of May 21, 2024, Albufeira City Council began collecting a municipal tax. According to the regulations, this €2 tourist tax will be applied between the season of April 1st and October 31st.
It applies for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights to all guests aged 13 and over.
Please note that this tax applies to paid nights in all hotels, local accommodation, campsites and caravans.

If you're traveling between November 1 and March 31, you'll have to pay the tourist tax via the Airbnb platform. I will then refund the tax via the Resolution Center. This is necessary because the Airbnb platform does not allow you to select the time of year when the tax is applicable.

The Algarve is also one of the best golf vacation destinations in Europe - every year it hosts the Portugal Masters, one of the most eagerly awaited tournaments on the European Tour, which brings lovers and the best athletes in the sport to the south of Portugal.
